Who We Are
Welcome to Elysium Farm. We're a small pork producer located in Berlin, MD. I don't know how you found us, but I'm glad you did. We raise naturally fed (not allowed to say "organic" without the sticker), medicine-free, healthy hogs outdoors. We're breeding old-line genetics, unmuddied by anything modern. Our method puts delicious, nutrient-dense, medicine-free food on the table for your family and ours. When you buy from us you've invited us to be at your table. We want to earn our place there.
What We Do
We're cross-breeding Duroc, Red Wattle, and some Hereford. We're looking for hogs as they were 100 years ago. We feed hydroponically grown organic barley fodder and fermented organic non-GMO grain. It takes us longer to finish a hog than most, but we believe that the extra time produces a much better animal. We believe that you are what you eat, you are what they eat, you are what we feed them. Our method is done with purpose and intent.
